MCPF Timur Laut DLC led the proceedings in the renamed “Jelutong Community Outreach Program 2018” (JCOP2018) 1^st Organizing Committee Meeting that was held in the night of 1^st August 2018 at the Dewan JKKK Jalan Perak located along Solok Slim off Jalan Van Praagh. In attendance were MBPP Director of Community Relations Puan Rashidah Jalaludin, Tuan Khairol Izwan and Tuan Muhd Muashraf Mohd of MBPP, ASP Chang Kut Choy of JPJKK IPD Timur Laut, Lion SK Chong, Jelutong Councilor Nicholas Theng, MCPF SLC Members Choo Eng Hin (Vice-Chairman of JCOP2018), Joseph Sawaremuthu (also Timur Laut DLC / JCOP2018 Treasurer) and Felix Chuah (also Timur Laut DLC Vice-Chairman [II]) as well as MCPF Timur Laut DLC Members Kathiraveloo Thangiah and Peter Paul Arokiyasamy alongside Secretary Ronald Cecil Aeria and MCPF Penang SLC Member / Timur Laut DLC Chairman / Chairman, JCOP2018) JM Tan. The Team had a useful meeting that adopted the change of Event name from “Batu Lanchang COP 2018” to “Jelutong COP 2018” to reflect its intention to reach 3 different State Constituencies (Datok Keramat, Sungai Pinang and Batu Lanchang) under the Jelutong Parliamentary seat. Additionally, it chose Sunday 23^rd September 2018 as the date of the event.
