TYT Tun Dato’ Seri Utama Haji Ramli bin Ngah Talib, Governor of Penang was paid a Courtesy Visit on Wednesday 19th August 2026 by Yang Berbahagia Tan Sri Datuk Seri Panglima Lee Lam Thye, former Member of Parliament for Bukit Bintang and the Chairman of the Safe Community Alliance Organization (Pertubuhan Ikatan Komuniti Selamat) at Seri Mutiara, the official residence of TYT Tun.

TYT Tun greatly appreciated the memory and willingness of an old friend to come and visit him. The meeting provided an opportunity for them to exchange warm greetings, reminisce about their long standing friendship and exchange views, especially in today’s changing world.

Tan Sri Datuk Seri Panglima Lee Lam Thye, a stalwart, ex-Senior Vice-Chairman and currently an Honorary Life Member of MCPF was accompanied by YH Dato’ Sri Johnny Ch’ng Ewe (EXCO Member, MCPF); YH Dato’ Kennard Ch’ng Ewe Kok (EXCO Member, MCPF); and, YBhg. Dato’ Seri Ong Poh Eng (Interim Chairman, MCPF Penang). TYT Tun expressed his fervent wish that Tan Sri and his delegation will always be blessed with good health, long life, prosperity and happiness with their families and loved ones.
