MCPF Penang were amongst 8 State Liaison Committees that participated in a Virtual (Google Meet) Meeting chaired by MCPF Federal on 26^th July 2022 to discuss the upcoming publication of an MCPF Coffee Table Book (CTB). MCPF Penang was represented by Chairman Y.Bhg. Dato’ Ong Poh Eng and its Secretary JM Tan. Key inputs were shared by MCPF Vice-Chairman Dr. Isdawati binti Ismail (in her capacity as MCPF Federal Chairman of the Research and Publication Standing Committee, Y.Bhg. Dato’ Rosliza Rosli (Lead for the CTB Publication) and Ms. Poon Foong Lin (Head of Sub-Committee for SLC inputs). The Coffee Table Book scheduled to be launched in early 2023 is in commemoration of the 30^th Anniversary of the founding of the Malaysia Crime Prevention Foundation on 11^th January 1993. State SLCs focus will be on the 3^rd Segment of the Book “The Community” and to also support the 4^th Segment “The Future Generation”. The planned 100 page CTB covering 3 decades of MCPF will have the Theme of “Peace & Unity”.
