MCPF Timur Laut DLC held its 3^rd Meeting of 2019 (7^th Overall since 4^th Quarter of 2017) at the Main Meeting Room of the Royal Malaysia Police Timur Laut District HQ, George Town on 19^th September 2019. This meeting was graced by the interactive participation of its Advisor YDH ACP Che Zaimani bin Che Awang (OCPD, Timur Laut). In attendance in this meeting chaired by JM Tan were Vice-Chairman (II) Felix Chuah Gim Chuan, Secretary Ronald Cecil Aeria, DLC Member Y.Bhg. Dato’ Nashir Ya, DLC Member Peter Paul Arokiyasamy, DLC Member Teoh Kheng Tatt and Committee Member Veera Tehsigen Manikam. Also in attendance were ASP Donny A/L John Jubang representing Vice-Chairman (I) DSP Chee Yin Kein, Abul Qalam bin Hamid representing DLC Member Mohd Fahmy Mustafa of the Pejabat Pendidikan Daerah Timur Laut and Kpl. Sankar (Bahagian PJKK IPD Timur Laut). Official Letters of Appointment as Timur Laut DLC Members for 2019-2020 were presented by ACP Che Zaimani bin Che Awang to recently added new DLC Members Y.Bhg. Dato’ Mohd Nashir bin Ya, Teoh Kheng Tatt and Veera Tehsigen Manikam. Timur Laut DLC Chairman updated the status of Kelab Pencegahan Jenayah Sekolah, School Programs (2 completed and 1 to be held the following week), the available School Program packages and the invitation to all DLC Members to attend the morning program of the forthcoming 5^th International Security Seminar. 100 copies of the Pocket Book “100 Tips Keselamatan Jenayah” was presented to ACP Che Zaimani to be used by the IPD Timur Laut BPJKK and PPS (Pegawai Perhubungan and the OCS of the 13 Balai Polis within Timur Laut District. All present were indeed thankful and motivated its Advisor Che Zaimani had shared his perspectives of the various topics brought up during the meeting. Upcoming Crime Prevention Programs for the rest of 2019 and for 2020 will be brainstormed in upcoming 4^th TL DLC Meeting in the 4^th Quarter of 2019.
