RMP Penang (Crime Prevention and Community Safety Department) successfully held a “Back to School Program 2020” at SK Ayer Itam on 30^th January 2020 in collaboration with the Penang State Education Department, MCPF Penang and Lions Club International (District 302B Region 1). VIPs in Attendance were Tuan Zamzuri bin Abd Rahman, School Principal of SK Ayer Itam; YDH SAC Zundin bin Mahmood, HOD, CPCSD, RMP Penang (also MCPF Penang Vice-Chairman [I]); Y.Bhg. Dato’ Seri Syed Jaafar Syed Ali, MCPF Penang Chairman; Y.Bhg. Dato’ K. Pulayantran (MCPF Penang Deputy Chairman), Tuan Fadzil bin Sadikin, Timbalan Pegawai Pendidikan, Daerah Timur Laut, Sektor Pembangunan Murid (also MCPF Timur Laut DLC Member) and Encik Azahar bin Hanifi, Yang di-Pertua of PIBG SK Ayer Itam. The Program Highlights included the Welcome Address by SK Ayer Itam School Principal Tuan Zamzuri bin Abd Rahman; Motivational Address to Teachers, Students and PIBG Members from SK Ayer Itam by YDH SAC Zundin bin Mahmood; Presentation of Appointment Certificates to School Student Leaders (Class Monitors, School Wardens, School Librarians, etc.) by YDH SAC Zundin bin Mahmood and Y.Bhg. Dato’ K. Pulayantran; Presentation of School Bags, School Shoes and other School items to students by Y.Bhg. Dato’ K. Pulayantran; and Presentation of Plaques / Appreciation Certificates to VIP Guests in attendance. This was a value-added program where not only were Teachers, Students and PIBD Members from SK Ayer Itam were present as a sense of ‘Community Outreach’ was achieved by invitation to surrounding neighboring schools. The audience were enthralled by the PDRM Vehicle (MPVs, URBs and e-Basikal) and captivating anecdotes and advises from their School Principal Tuan Zamzuri bin Abd Rahman and Guest-of-Honor YDH SAC Zundin bin Mahmood.
