
MCPF Penang Chairman Y.Bhg. Dato’ Seri Syed Jaafar Syed Ali attended an official dinner hosted by Royal Malaysia Police, Penang Contingent at Deluxcious Spa & Restaurant, Jalan Sultan Ahmad Shah on 12th February 2020. This was a follow-up event which was held earlier in the day at the Main Meeting Room of RMP Penang HQ chaired by YDH CP Dato’ Narenasagaran Thangaveloo, Chief Police Officer of Penang where Dato’ KP and his Senior Police Officers welcomed the First Secretary of Embassy of Japan, Kuala Lumpur ACP Tatsuya Tamagawa and his entourage. This evening social event saw Dato’ Seri Syed Jaafar exchanging views with both ACP Tatsuya Tamagawa and the former Japanese Police Attaché of Penang Kenji Yamakawa who is currently the Chief Inspector of Osaka Prefectural Police. Others in attendance included YDH ACP Soffian bin Santong and his wife Puan Natasha Cheong; YDH ACP Somsak a/l Din Keliaw, Deputy HOD, CPCSD RMP Penang; Japanese Consul, Penang, Mr. Kenneth Tan and Police Attaché of Penang, Mr. Riki.
