MCPF Penang Chairman YBhg. Dato’ Seri Ong Poh Eng was accompanied by Deputy Chairman YBhg. Dato’ Seri K. Pulayantran, Vice-Chairman (II) Rosli Mohamed Ali and Secretary Johnny Michael Tan in paying a Courtesy Visit to TYT Tun Dato’ Seri Utama Ahmad Fuzi bin Haji Abdul Razak at Seri Mutiara on 29th January 2024. The itinerary included a Welcome by TYT Tun; Introduction by Dato’ Seri Ong Poh Eng; an overview of MCPF by JM Tan culminating a breakfast and interactive dialogue with TYT Tun. Amongst the key items covered were on reduction of Crimes in Schools (School Bullying; Threats from Drugs and its root causes; CCTV Coverage proposal); Drug Issues and Challenges (its prevalence in society; rehabilitation efforts with drug related issues; National / Global challenges); and the ever increasing and evolving SCAMs concerns (MCPF Penang plans; QR Code approach to create greater awareness). There was good congruent thoughts that MCPF has to work seamlessly with the Penang State Government; PDRM; relevant Government Agencies and others including MCPF Penang Strategic Partners. Public reach out effectiveness including MCPF Penang Website was also touched upon. MCPF Penang is indeed humbled and grateful of this audience with TYT Tun, is positively motivated by his interest, alignment of perspectives and support commitment.
