He saluted MCPF Penang for being active and enthusiastic in their collaborative efforts with other agencies and especially their focus on schools as nurturing children at a tender age can help to deter and control crime. To this, he suggested MCPF to look into the possibility to consult and share with kindergarten and nursery teachers so that children to start such character building. He also indicated that another focus area is on illegal immigrants which posed a danger to the community if left unchecked. MCPF Penang DLC Chairmen in attendance shared their personal brief, experiences and challenges and gave their commitment to work closely with JPNIN at Penang and District levels. The JPNIN PPDs requested MCPF DLCs to help trigger them on information that could be detrimental to harmony within the community.
