MCPF Penang warmly welcomes the appointment of Penang’s new Chief Police Officer YDH CP Datuk Hamzah bin Hj. Ahmad. The former Bukit Aman Internal Security and Public Order Department Deputy Director (Operations) takes over from former state CPO YDH CP Dato’ Khaw Kok Chin who had now taken over as the new Federal Narcotics Crime Investigation Department (NCID) Director. The hand-over ceremony was held at Dewan Mutiara, Penang Police Contingent Headquarters on 22^nd April 2024 witnessed by the Inspector-General of Police (IGP) Tan Sri Razarudin Husain. Sik born Hamzah, 58, has had over 36 years of experience in the force. Under CP Datuk Hamzah’s leadership, MCPF Penang looks forward to continue forging of close rapport and cooperation with PDRM in its Crime Prevention efforts underlying the clarion call of “Bersama Memerangi Jenayah” (“Together to Fight Crime”).
