A special MCPF Penang SLC Meeting was chaired by Chairman Dato’ Seri Ong Poh Eng at the PGC Board Room on Thursday 22nd May 2025 from 8:00 pm to 9:10 pm.

The Main Agenda: Fund Raising through MCPF Penang Golf Classic / Dinner

Attendees were:

1. YBhg. Dato’ Seri Ong Poh Eng, Chairman, & Golf Classic / Dinner Advisor; 2. Mr. JM Tan, Secretary; 3. Dr. Kiew Hen Chong, SLC Member & Program Organizing Committee Chairman; 4. YBhg. Dato’ M Kaleessvaran, SLC Member & Program Organizing Committee Secretary; 5. YBhg. Dato’ Felix Chuah, Timur Laut DLC Chairman; 6. Mr. James Mohan, Barat Daya DLC Chairman; 7. Mr. Paramaguru Balan Moghan, SPS DLC Chairman; 8. Encik Ridzuan Md Zain, SPT DLC Chairman; 9. Mr. Victor Lim Kok Hooi, SLC Member; and, 10. Encik Rahmat Ibrahim, SLC Chairman. Meeting Brief: 1. Dato’ Seri Ong welcomed all present for this special meeting and shared updates on various aspects of key parties to be involved; 2.Dr. Kiew Hen Chong will call for an inaugural Organizing Committee involving both MCPF Penang SLC and PGC staff as soon as possible; 3. SLC Members had a positive dialogue on ideas to make this a successful program; 4. Targeted Golfing participants – up to 30 flights (120 pax) with the ‘Shotgun’ format being used; 5. The meeting ended at 9:10 pm with a Vote of Thanks by Dato’ Seri Ong to all present.
