MCPF Seberang Perai Selatan’s DLC Chairman Mej. Bersekutu (PA) M. Paramaguru Balan @Ramm accompanied by SPA DLC Members Mr. Komogan Lingam and Mr. Cheong Yu Hoo was immensely involved in a successful South Seberang Perai Anti- Bullying Program 2025 held at Dewan Seri Tasek, SK Seri Tasek, SPS on Wednesday 1st October 2025 from 8:00 am to 1:00 pm.

1. Introduction: The program was organized by SK Seri Tasek in collaboration with the South Seberang Perai District Education Office (PPD) through the Student Development Sector.
2. The main objective of this program was to enhance the understanding of students, teachers, and parents on the meaning, types, and negative impacts of bullying, as well as to instill values of empathy and respect among the school community.
3. Key outcomes included: 1. To provide understanding of the definition and forms of bullying; 2. To increase awareness among students, teachers, and parents on the negative impacts of bullying; 3. To guide students in practicing noble values, empathy, and mutual respect; 4. To create a school environment free from bullying.
4. Puan Siti Fadzilah binti Osman, Deputy District Education Officer (Student Development Sector) / also MCPF SPS DLC Member was present.
5. Also in attendance was the Teachers & Working Committee from SK Seri Tasek and participating schools, including: 1. Puan Mastiah binti Mohd Yulan (Headmistress); 2. Puan Azizah binti Osman (Senior Assistant, Co-Curriculum); 3. Encik Mohd Bistoli bin A. Hamid (Senior Assistant, Administration); 4. Puan Ruzaini binti Abd Rashid (Senior Assistant, Student Affairs); 5. Teachers and committee representatives from SK Seri Tasek and other participating schools.
6. Attendance from the Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM) with representatives from PPS PDRM and Simpang Ampat Police Station, SPS: 1. Sergeant Azidin bin Ahmad; and 2. Corporal Amri bin Azali
7. Participants were Level 2 students, teachers, and facilitators from 8 schools in the South Seberang Perai District: 1. SK Seri Tasek; 2. SK Bandar Tasek Mutiara; 3. SK Saujana Indah; 4. SJKC Kampung Jawi; 5. SKJT Nibong Tebal; 6. SKJT Ladang Jawi; 7. SJKC Pai Teik; 8. SK Sungai Acheh
8. Total participants were captive audiences: 100 students; 16 Crime Prevention Club (Kelab Pencegahan Jenayah teachers; with the 3 speakers & facilitators from MCPF.
9. Program Contents: 9.1 Briefing & talks on the effects of bullying by MCPF; 9.2 Group activities emphasizing empathy & cooperation; 9.3 Q&A session with speakers; 9.4 Anti-bullying campaign activities and slogan chanting: “We Hate Bullying” (“Kami Benci Buli”)
10. Outcomes & Achievements: 10.1 Improving students’ understanding of the dangers of bullying. 10.2 Instilled empathy, respect, and noble values among participants. 10.3 Empowered students with confidence to report bullying cases to teachers or relevant authorities. 11. In conclusion, the Anti-Bully Camp Program, South Seberang Perai District 2025, successfully achieved its intended objectives. It is hoped that similar programs will continue to be held regularly to cultivate a school culture free from bullying throughout the South Seberang Perai District.
