MCPF Penang continues to take an active role in supporting the proliferation of Volunteer Smartphone Patrol (VSP) by the general public.
Crime Prevention, Golf Competition and VSP Launch at Dublin Estate Sime Darby Golf Course in Kulim Kedah on 16th September 2017.
On 16th September 2017 MCPF Penang Committee Member Paramguru Balan Moghan attended an event supporting Crime Prevention, Golf Competition and VSP Launch held at Dublin Estate Sime Darby Golf Course in Kulim Kedah. The event was jointly organized by Gabungan Persatuan-Persatuan Kaum India (GAPPIN) Malaysia (where Paramguru Balan is an active Committee member) and PDRM IPD Kulim. In attendance were YDH Supt. Ahmad Nassir bin Jaafar, OCPD of Kulim, Kedah; Heads of Departments from IPD Kulim and various heads of NGOs.
High Profile Policing incorporating VSP Launch at Jit Sin Independent High School on 18th September 2017.
On 18th September 2017 SPT DLC Chairman EL Ching attended a High Profile Policing (HPP) Program by JPJKK IPD Seberang Perai Tengah at Jit Sin Independent High School, Bukit Mertajam graced by YDH ACP Nik Ros Azhan Bin Nik Ab Hamid, other high ranking Police Officers; Mr. Tan Kee Keat – Head of Jit Sin High School; Mr. Goh Soon Loon – Alumni Head of Jit Sin High School alongside past and present pupils of Jit Sin High School. There were 74 new VSP registrants.
High Profile Policing incorporating VSP Launch at Mid-Autumn Festival, Juru Auto-City, Bukit Tengah, SPT on 23rd September 2017.
In a “Mid-Autumn Festival” Evening / Night Program held at Juru Auto-City, Bukit Tengah, SPT on 23rd September 2017, an encouraging 124 general public participants signed up for the VSP registration. A VSP Registration Booth was jointly set up by MCPF SPT DLC and PDRM SPT. In attendance at this High Profile Policing community program were Inspector Ang Kim Yeam (KPSD SSPDRM SPT), 2 other Inspectors from SSPRDM SPT and 9 members of the PDRM SSPRDM SPT. Representing MCPF SPT DLC were Secretary Jacob Pao and Committee Members Victor Lim Kok Hooi and Kenny.
