
The Inspector-General of Police, Malaysia Tan Sri Dato’ Sri Mohamad Fuzi Bin Harun, together with ASEANAPOL Chairman CP of Singapore Police Force, Hoong Wee Teck and CP of Royal Brunei Police Force, Dato Paduka Seri Hj. Mohd Jammy Bin Muhd Shah Al Islam officiated at the ceremony for handing and taking over of duties of the ASEANOPOL Secretariat’s Directors at Bank Raykat Twin Tower, Kuala Lumpur on 12th January 2018. MCPF Penang Vice-Chairman (I) YDH SAC Dato’ Mohamad Anil Shah was in attendance. Also spotted amongst the invitees was MCPF’s Senior Vice-Chairman Tan Sri Datuk Seri Lee Lam Thye giving his strong support to our IGP Tan Sri’ Dato Sri Mohamad Fuzi who is also MCPF’s Deputy Chairman.
The new ASEANAPOL Secretariat Office opening in Kuala Lumpur is a significant milestone for this Regional Organization.
MCPF Penang is proud that the presence of both Tan Sri Datuk Seri Lee Lam Thye and SAC Dato’ Mohamad Anil Shah not only underlines MCPF’s quest for a Crime Free society in Malaysia working in cognizance with PDRM, but more significantly with PDRM playing a critical role of this Regional body, the strong continuum embodied by ASEANAPOL’s Theme of “Together We Keep This Region Safe” drives the ASEAN region to greater heights of Peace, Security and Harmony.
