The Volunteer Smartphone Patrol Promotion by PDRM Penang… actively supported by MCPF Penang continues to gather positive momentum. In a Promotion Event by PDRM in MBPP, KOMTAR on 26^th January 2018, the Penang State Crime Prevention and Community Safety Department Chief YDH SAC Dato’ Mohamad Anil Shah briefed MBPP staff on the importance of their participation to help fight crime in Penang Island. As at 26^th January 2018, there has been 45,121 registered users since 25^th March 2017. This places Penang, numbers wise, at a highly commendable 3^rd position nationwide. Statistically, per 100,000 population Penang is now the leading State.

In his short address to the SLC Members present at the MCPF Penang SLC 01/2018 Meeting, Dato’ Mohamad Anil Shah thanked all SLC Members for their continuing support on the VSP proliferation. He urged that our SLC and DLCs work with JPJKK IPK and IPD in the continuing drive to bring this tool to as many members of the Penang public as possible.
