A Collaboration Meeting was conducted between MCPF Penang (SLC/DLCs) with Penang State Education Department (including PPDs) at MCPF Penang Office, RMP Penang HQ on 21^st January 2020. Representing MCPF Penang SLC were Secretary (cum SPT DLC Chairman) Dr. EL Ching, SLC Member cum SPT DLC Treasurer Ridzuan Md Zain, SLC Member cum SPT DLC Member Victor Lim Kok Hooi, SLC Member cum Barat Daya DLC Chairman James Mohan, SLC Member cum Timur Laut DLC Vice-Chairman (II) Felix Chuah Gim Chuan (who attended on behalf of SLC Member cum TL DLC Chairman JM Tan), SLC Member cum SPS DLC Chairman Paramaguru Balan Moghan and SLC Member cum SPU DLC Chairman Munusamy Muniandy. Representing the Penang State Education Department were Tuan Mohamad Zakaria bin Zain (also ex-Officio MCPF Penang SLC Member) and his assistant Tuan Mohd Roslan bin Darus. The Education District representatives (all being approved as ex-Officio DLC Members for the respective DLCs) were Tuan Rozaimi bin Che Mat (Barat Daya), Tuan Fadzil bin Sadikin (Timur Laut), Tuan Mohd Rizal Ismail (SPS), Puan Haslina binti Kamaron (SPT) and Tuan Mohd Faizal bin Haji Ismail (SPU). Dr. EL Ching and Tuan Mohamad Zakaria bin Zain delivered the Welcoming speeches on behalf of MCPF Penang and JPN Penang followed by all present introducing themselves. Dr. EL Ching shared a briefing on MCPF. He also led a discussion on MCPF Penang’s SOP on organizing programs and consensus was reached on School programs SOP to be adhered to by all parties with open communication and information within a joint WhatsApp Chat Group, Focus was also made on forthcoming Island and Mainland School Programs with JPN Penang / PPD to ensure support. All in a very productive and ‘teamwork’ driven meeting.
