
MCPF Penang SLC were amongst donors and well-wishers who donated wheelchairs to the Penang Hospital in conjunction with the 212th Police Day Celebrations. Penang Hospital director Y.Bhg. Dato’ Dr. Norsidah Ismail received the 13 wheelchairs including 3 reclining geriatric chairs at the hospital’s auditorium. Undoubtedly, the contribution of 4 wheelchairs by MCPF Penang underlined the significant continuing relationship between MCPF Penang, the Penang Hospital, Royal Malaysia Police – Penang Contingent and other NGOs. MCPF Penang’s Chairman Y.Bhg. Dato’ Seri Syed Jaafar Syed Ali; YDH SAC Dato’ Mohamad Anil Shah, Head of Crime Prevention and Community Safety Department (cum MCPF Penang Vice-Chairman [I]); and Penang Hospital Deputy Director Wong Cheng Yew witnessed the handing over of the Wheelchairs by YDH CP Dato’ Narenasagaran Thangaveloo, Chief Police Officer of Penang. CP Dato’ Naren had earlier led the RMP contingent that included his wife Y.Bhg. Datin Shamala Retnam (Chairperson of PERKEP); YDH SAC Dato’ Mohamad Anil Shah and his wife; YDH SAC Dato’ Zainol Abu Samah, Head of Crime Investigation Department; YDH ACP Che Zaimani bin Che Awang, OCPD of North-East (Timur Laut) District (cum MCPF Timur Laut DLC Advisor); YDH ACP Hj Noorzainy bin Mohd Noor, OCPD of SPU (cum MCPF SPU SLC Advisor); YDH Supt Shafee bin Abd Samad, OCPD of SPS (cum MCPF SPS DLC Advisor); other RMP Heads of Department and Senior Police Officers of RMP Penang Contingent in the visits to the Children’s Ward; Male Patients’ Ward and Female Patients’ Ward.
