MCPF Penang Chairman YBhg. Dato’ Seri Ong Poh Eng hosted a gathering of MCPF Penang SLC Members, Lions Club International members and others to a short talk on “Life’s Lessons in relation to our Volunteerism Role in MCPF / NGOs and other organizations” by YBhg. Dato’ Seri Ayub bin Yaakob, Senior Vice-Chairman of MCPF at the Golf View Room, Penang Golf Club on 20^th October 2023. The audience included MCPF Penang Members JM Tan, Secretary; Ridzuan Md Zain, SPT Chairman; Munusamy Muniandy, SPU Chairman; and Yazid Razali, SLC Member. Amongst the attentive crowd were Teoh Eng Hin, Chairman of Bukit Jambul MBKK; Ananda Krishnan, PGC GM; Tony Tan, MCPF Member; and Lions Club International Members. Tuan Norazlan Haji Idris, Corporate Manager and Nur Farahdilla Sulaiman, Executive (Admin & IT) from MCPF Secretariat was also in attendance. Dato’ Seri Ayub key food for thoughts included the richness of Malaysia’s Diversity; importance of Teamwork; being empathetic listeners; keeping pace with evolving technologies and social fabric of a changing world; making reading a habit; MCPF’s Key Mission to serving the Community; the essence of engagement through understanding needs and expectations with measured impact and sustainability; contemporary concerns involving Prisoners, Drug Menace, Industrial Crimes; SCAMs, Bullying in Schools and MCPF Federal’s commitment to engage with content expertise, policy makers and regulatory changers. Dato’ Seri Ong urged participating audience to optimize Dato’ Seri Ayub’s messages as guidelines.
