RMP Penang Contingent’s Crime Prevention and Community Safety Department (HQ and North-East District) demonstrated their support to reach out to teachers and parents of students in the 46th PIBG (Persatuan Ibu-Bapa Guru / Parents – Teachers Association) of Penang Free School on 9th March 2019. YDH SAC Dato’ Mohamad Anil Shah (Head of Crime Prevention and Community Safety Department / MCPF Penang Vice-Chairman [I]) was accompanied by DSP Sathasivam Maniam (RMP Penang CPCSD), DSP Chee Yin Kein (RMP Head of CPCS Section North-East District / MCPF North-East DLC Vice-Chairman [I]), Inspector Aniq Irfan bin Ishak (School Liaison Officer) and Sjn. Mohd Syazwan bin MB Sahimi (Assistant School Liaison Officer). Penang Free School had its School Principal Omar bin Abd Rashid, Lim Chong Huat (Head of PFS PIBG) and Ho Nean Chan (Assistant School Principal) in attendance. Omar bin Abd Rashid delivered his address emphasizing the important role that Parents had in the development of the children. He also shared that PFS was free of Crime and Drug Abuse. In his address, PFS PIBG Head Lim Chong Huat appreciated the parents who were present and that their cooperation with the school management / teachers was vital in the academic and co-curriculum success of PFS. In his Official Address, YDH SAC Dato’ Mohamad Anil Shah stressed that the future success of all students from all schools needed the utmost support of their parents. He emphasized the role of the RMP School Liaison Officer to help in maintaining high disciplinary standards and curbing criminal / drug abuse concerns. He also highlighted the importance of parents keeping an eye on their children who are now heavily engrossed in Cyber Space activities. Dato’ Anil Shah encouraged that sports activities and academic excellence should be pursued by PFS students. He iterated the positive sharing that PFS was free from criminal or drug abuse issues.
