
It was a colorful, it was joyous and it was a sumptuous occasion. The Royal Malaysia Police Penang Contingent held its Deepavali Open House at the Community Hall of the Marine Police, Wilayah 1, Batu Uban on 21st November 2018. The Guests of Honor were TYT Tun Dato’ Seri Utama (Dr.) Haji Abdul Rahman bin Haji Abas, Governor of Penang and Y.Bhg. Toh Puan Datin Seri Utama Hajah Majimor bte. Shariff. The Royal Malaysia Police Director of Narcotics Crime Department, Bukit Aman YDH Dato’ Seri Mohamed bin Salleh joined the festivities.

Datin Seri Komodhi Dhanaraj (also Chairperson, PERKEP Penang Contingent); YDH DCP Dato’ Paduka Roslee bin Chik, Deputy CPO of Penang (also the Chairman of the Event) and Y.Bhg. Datin Zainun bin Embung; RMP Penang Heads of Departments and their wives; RMP Penang OCPDs and their wives; Heads of FRU, Marine Police and Field Force and their wives; OCPDs and their wives and all Officers / Lower Ranked Officers of RMP; members of the Public and Invited Guests wore their Deepavali best attire to add to the gaiety. MCPF Penang led by Y.Bhg. Dato’ Seri Syed Jaafar Syed Ali (Chairman) and Associate Professor Dr. P. Sundramoorthy were amongst those seated at the VVIP table. MCPF Penang SLC showed up in strength to show their unyielding social support. These included Y.Bhg. Dato’ K. Pulayantran (Deputy Chairman), Rosli Mohamed Ali (Vice-Chairman [II], JM Tan (North-East DLC Chairman), Munusamy Muniandy (SPU DLC Chairman), Choo Eng Hin, Paramguru Balan Moghan, Yazid bin Razali and Syed Abdul Rahman Syed Jaafar.
