
A courtesy visit was made by Pertubuhan Penggerak Masyarakat Malaysia to the Crime Prevention and Community Safety Department of the Royal Malaysia Police, Penang Contingent on the afternoon of 8th October 2018. Representing PPMM were its President Encik Mohad Nasri bin Sahat and its Secretary Puan Nani binti Baharuddin. They were warmly welcomed by YDH SAC Dato’ Mohamad Anil Shah, Head of CPCSD, Penang RMP (cum MCPF Penang Vice-Chairman [I]) and members of his Senior Staff i.e. YDH ACP Som Sak A/L Keliaw, Deputy Head of CPCSD, Penang (Strategic Planning); YDH Supt. Tan Cheng San, Staff Officer, CPCSD, Penang (Ground Operations); YDH Supt. Abd Hamid bin Ludin, Staff Officer, CPCSD, Penang (Administration); YDH Supt. Saw Hock Tek, Staff Officer, CPCSD Penang (Community Policing) cum MCPF Penang SLC Ex-Officio Member); YDH DSP Sathasivam A/L Maniam CPCSD Penang (Community Policing); and YDH ASP Halim bin Suaib. The Welcoming Speech was delivered by YDH SAC Dato’ Mohamad Anil Shah whilst Encik Mohd Nasri bin Sahat gave a brief on the Roles and Functions of the Pertubuhan Penggerak Masyarakat Malaysia – a Malaysian Activist NGO focusing on Producing, Training, Maintaining and Assisting Community Mobilizers to develop Human Rights. Their efforts encompass four categories: 1. Community of Malaysian Citizens; 2. International Community; 3. The Refugees Community; and 4. Business Community.
