MCPF Penang SLC Members held its second consecutive annual Strategic Planning Retreat at the Abbey Road Conference Room, Hard Rock Hotel, Batu Ferringhi, Penang on Wednesday 21st December 2016. The Retreat was chaired by MCPF Penang Deputy Chairman Associate Professor Dr. P. Sundramoorthy. MCPF Penang SLC Attendees in attendance were Secretary Rosli Mohamed Ali, Treasurer Harikumar Katherasen (cum Venue Host), Rahumatullah Ibrahim, James Mohan, Choo Eng Hin, Munusamy Muniandy, JM Tan (cum Retreat Facilitator), ex-Officio Puan Noor Asa Elang, ex-Officio Supt. Zainudin Mahadi, Affiliate Joseph Sawaremuthu, and Assistant Secretary Nasrul Faizal. Khairul Hafiz from Jabatan Keselamatan USM was also in attendance.
The Team in attendance had a successful brainstorming which culminated in progressive ideas and suggestions for 2017 MCPF Penang Crime Prevention Programs, Events and Activities that were broadly categorized under Seminars, Town House Engagement, Community Outreach Programs, Schools / PIBG, Fund Raising, Study Tours, Networking and Rehab / Treatment.
