MCPF Penang SLC organized its 3rd Fund Raising Golf and Dinner at Penang Golf Club, Bukit Jambul on 23rd July 2017. Guest of Honour YDH CP Datuk Wira Chuah Ghee Lye, an avid golfer gave his unyielding support to MCPF SLC and ensured that his presence helped push the envelope for Golf participants, Dinner tables and Fund Raising itself.

MCPF Penang Chairman Dato’ Seri Syed Jaafar Syed Ali made the Organizing Committee chaired by MCPF Penang SLC Member Choo Eng Hin feel positive with his presence not only during the event but also in the Team meetings. Special thanks to all the Premier, Main and other Sponsors in for the VIP Dinner Tables, ‘A’ Boards at Holes #9 and #18, generous donations in cash and kind, Lucky Draw Prizes and Vouchers. Sincere thanks to PDRM Penang – all OCPDs, IPK Heads of Department, the venue host Penang Golf Club, the Organizing Committee and members of the Press for making this a successful event. Special mention to MCPF KL Chairman Mr. Bok Siew Mun who paid a courtesy visit before the Golf event.

The Dinner Event at PGC Ballroom was an entertaining evening with short speeches by the Organizing Chairman Choo Eng Hin, MCPF Penang Chairman Dato’ Seri Syed Jaafar Syed Ali and CPO of Penang CP Datuk Wira Chuah Ghee Lye. The DRR Band (sponsored by Datuk Wira KP himself) kept the diners entertained with beautiful rendition of hits and backed singers for the night including Guest of Honour CP Datuk Wira Chuah who helped to raise additional funds through his booming delivery of golden oldies. Golf Competition winners included those finishing 1st to 10th and even ‘Novelty’ prizes. Lucky Draws including Vouchers sponsored by Hotels kept the Dinner crowd’s attention through till the end. A specially-designed Appreciation Display Plaque (by the OC Choo Eng Hin) were handed out to VIPs and Premier Sponsors.
