MCPF Penang supported two of the many events organized by the Women’s Development Department (Jabatan Pembangunan Wanita) of the Ministry of Women, Family and Community (Kementerian Pembangunan Wanita, Keluarga dan Masyarakat – KPWKM).
Maj. (H) M. Kaleessvaran, EL Ching and JM Tan represented MCPF Penang in a Seminar on Women’s Anti-Crime held at Atrium 2, Level 2 Prangin Mall on 26^th October 2016.  In this event, a Presentation cum Demonstration by DSP Foo Chek Seng of JPJKK, Bukit Aman PDRM was delivered and received enthusiastically by the crowd.  ACP Mior Faridalathrash Wahid, OCPD Timur Laut officiated.  A Self-Defense Demonstration by AMANITA IPD Timur Laut was included.  MCPF Penang made its mark by the distribution of 100 copies of the MCPF Booklet publication “100 Tips Keselamatan Jenayah” to the crowd.
Maj. (H) M. Kaleessvaran, who had the honor of delivering a 20 minutes short talk on Crime Prevention focusing on Women, and Munusamy Muniandy represented MCPF Penang in a “Walk the Talk” Program held at Bertam Boulevard, Bertam, Kepala Batas (Seberang Perai Utara) on 27^th November 2016.
The Director of Pejabat Pembangunan Wanita Negeri Pulau Pinang, Puan Marhaini binti Abu Bakar was in attendance for both events.
