MCPF Penang Chairman Dato’ Seri Syed Jaafar Syed Ali lauded PRDM Penang for their support of  M. Vasanthapriya’s parents in the recent unfortunate death of their 13 year old daughter. The general public also praised the completion of the investigation by PDRM and requesting for an official inquest. PDRM went above and beyond the call of normal duty to express their sympathies and condolences in person and to hand out donation to the bereaved parents. This was carried out on during a CPO Penang Program with Indian Secondary School students at the Sekolah Menengah Seberang Perai, SPS, on 22^nd February 2018. Tamil Nesan press published the gratitude of MCPF Penang as expressed by Dato’ Seri Syed Jaafar Syed Ali on 27^th February 2018.
