YDH CP Dato’ A. Thaiveegan officiated at a Seminar for parents entitled “Menuju Ke Universiti” organized by PDRM Penang and MCPF Penang at the Auditorium, Institut Latihan Perindustrian Arumugam Pillai (ILP), Nibong Tebal, SPS on 8^th July 2018.  MCPF Penang Deputy Chairman Dato’ K. Pulayantran addressed the crowd prior to a Motivation Session conducted by Prof. Dr. Kader Ibrahim A. R. The focus given to the participating crowd was on the importance of scholastic excellence pursuit reaching right up to the University level and avoiding lifestyle that is criminal in nature bringing negative social impact to family, the community at large and the nation in general.

It was estimated that over 320 students were in attendance together with teachers and parents alongside senior Police officers and staff from IPD SPS. MCPF SLC Member cum SPS DLC Secretary Paramguru Balan Moghan as well as SPS SLC Vice-Chairman (I) ASP Rani Putri binti Sharif were present as well.
