Kudos to MCPF SPS DLC Chairman Paramguru Balan Moghan who led the co-organizing of the Penang State Karate-Do Okinawa Goju-Ryu Open Championships at Dewan Serbaguna Sungai Bakap on 21st July 2019. The Okinawa Goju-Ryu Karate-Do Association of Penang shares the same paradigm with MCPF that Sports amongst youth will help to encourage them to avoid negative activities like Crime, Social misconduct and Drug involvement. This Championship is also a step toward the representing Penang State and even Malaysia in the future. MCPF Penang SLC Member cum Barat Daya DLC Chairman James Mohan, MCPF Penang SLC Member cum SPS DLC Vice-Chairman (II) Maj. (Rtd) Wan Abdul Hamid, SPS DLC Secretary Arumugam A/L Rajoo and SPS DLC Member Visvaraj A/L Balasundram were also in attendance alongside DSP Moghan (IPK Penang) and Insp Nazri (OCPD SPS Rep). Karate-Do Okinawa Malaysia’s Mahaguru Ananthan and Shihan Stalin were also present at this Championship involving 450 Karate-Do athletes.
