MCPF Penang Chairman Y.Bhg. Dato’ Seri Syed Jaafar Syed Ali and MCPF Penang Secretary Dr. EL Ching attended an Executive Discussion on Cybercrime that was organized by Majlis Keselamatan Negara (MKN) [National Security Council] at KOMTAR on 19^th August 2019. Encik Ahmad Fairuz bin Mohammed Noor, Ketua Penolong Pengarah Agensi Keselamatan Siber Negara (NASCA), MKN shared on the topic of current Cybersecurity whilst ASP Azaini bin Abdullah of the Commercial Crime Investigation Department, RMP Penang talked about the various ‘Scams’ that are of current focus and concern. The Closing Ceremony was officiated by Tuan Hj. Mohd Ali bin Sebran, Timbalan Setiausaha Kerajaan (Pengurusan) Pulau Pinang. This event was attended by over 150 participants from various Government Departments and Agencies of Penang.
