
MCPF Penang SLC Member and SPU DLC Chairman Munusamy Muniandy represented MCPF in the “Go To Safety Point” (GTSP) Launching Ceremony with Petrol Station Business Owners at Mak Mandin Shell Station, Butterworth, SPU on 25th August 2019. The Chief Police Officer of Penang YDH CP Dato’ Narenasagaran Thangaveloo officially launched this Program with five major Petrol Station Business Owners Shell, Petronas, Petron, BHP and Caltex where these outlets serve as the facilitative / collaborative partner with RMP to meet the objectives of providing assistance during emergencies, involvement of the business communities and general public to promote crime prevention awareness efforts and be the appointed / trained liaison between the crime victim and RMP. In attendance were the Deputy CPO of Penang, RMP HODs, OCPDs, and Senior Police Officers of RMP Penang Crime Prevention and Community Safety Department alongside other public stakeholders (BOMBA, APAM, PASKAM) and members of the Press / Media.
