MCPF Penang supported and participated in a Facebook Live Streaming Event organized by Jabatan Penerangan Malaysia, Penang. The “Influencer @JaPen” Event was hosted by the host Moderator Encik Ibrahim bin Hashim (Assistant Director, Cawangan Media Siber / CMS of the Communications Department, Penang) with Puan Elmariah Chung, Director of Agensi Anti-Dadah Kebangsaan, (AADK) Penang as the guest panel speaker. Key strategies being deployed by AADK to provide awareness and education on combating drugs addiction and misuse; new types of drugs in the market; clarification on the ‘Ketum” topic and key focus areas (‘Hotspots’) within Penang State was well elaborated by Puan Elmariah Chung (who is also the ex-Officio MCPF Penang SLC Member). Amongst MCPF Penang SLC Members who followed this event were SPS DLC Chairman Paramaguru Balan Moghan and Timur Laut DLC Chairman Johnny Michael Tan who both provided ‘live’ feedback commentary / remarks.
