MCPF Penang mourns the loss of its stalwart Dr. Ching Eng Leong, PhD. who passed away on 8th May 2022 after battling brain cancer. Dr. EL Ching will be sorely missed and he has been a well-respected individual within the Security fraternity including ASIS Malaysia and OSAC (Overseas Security Advisory Council) Malaysia. His journey with MCPF Penang has seen him as a leader with passion and a heart for people that he interacted with and the community around him. The attached collaged picture is a reflection of his pursuit of excellence in life. The captured pictures of his final interactions at MCPF 27th AGM (Melaka, 19th Dec 2020), MCPF Penang SLC 11th March 2022 and MCPF SPT DLC 26th March 2022) is just a glimpse into his dedication and determination to succeed. Thank you Dr. EL Ching and Rest In Peace. Sincere condolences to his family, relatives, loved ones and multitude of friends, colleagues and peers! MCPF Penang led by Chairman Y.Bhg. Dato’ Ong Poh Eng were in attendance at his wake in his Sitiawan, Perak hometown on 9th May 2022.
