22 JUNE 2023 – TYT Tun Dato’ Seri Utama Ahmad Fuzi bin Haji Abdul Razak officiated the 10th Forum on Crime and Policing in Malaysia, themed “Crime is Colour Blind,” organised by the Malaysia Crime Prevention Foundation (Penang) at Jen Hotel Penang.
Also present were YBhg. Dato’ Dr. P. Sundramoorthy, the chairman of the forum, YBhg. Dato’ Ong Poh Eng, the advisor, and other dignitaries.
In his keynote address, TYT Tun expressed concern regarding the potential risk of overlooking the underlying societal issues that drive crime and foster societal divisions. By embracing a colour-blind perspective, TYT Tun emphasised that we can nurture a more nuanced understanding of crime and strive towards creating a fair and just society that encompasses all individuals without any fear or favour.
TYT Tun hopes that the sanctity of diversity is protected and defended at all costs, ensuring that all of God’s creations are considered equal and treated with dignity, respect, and honour. There should be no discrimination based on one’s skin colour, social, political, or religious beliefs, educational attainment, or economic status.
