MCPF SPT DLC Chairman Ridzuan Md Zain attended a Design Thinking Workshop cum Meeting with the Officer in charge for the ‘Greening’ efforts of Mukim 19 – a ‘high risk’ area of Drug Addiction’ organized by AADK Penang at The Iconic Hotel, Icon City – Bukit Tengah, Bukit Mertajam  on 12^th June 2023. The official address was delivered by Puan Elmariah Chung, Director of Agensi Anti-Dadah Kebangsaan (AADK), Penang State and officiated by a representative from the Penanti State Assemblyman’s office. The workshop / meeting key objectives included planning and optimizing joint efforts on a comprehensive ‘Greening’ program for Mukim 19; outlining the roles and responsibilities of members including those from Government agencies, NGOs, area Community Leaders via a ‘Community Empowerment’ approach; and to encourage critique and creative inputs to develop a holistic model to overcome the problem of Drug Abuse and Misuse.
