The MCPF EXCO Meeting #2 2024/2026 at Grand Pulse Hotel Putrajaya on Monday, 6^th August 2024 was chaired by MCPF Chairman YB Datuk Seri Saifuddin Nasution Ismail, Minister of Home Affairs Malaysia. In attendance were Y.Bhg. Dato’ Seri Ayub Yaakob, Sr. Vice-Chairman MCPF; Y.Bhg. Dato’ Sri Dr. King Lim Chin Fui, Vice-Chairman MCPF; Y.Bhg. Dato’ Haji Abdul Halim Haji Abdul Rahman, Deputy Chief Secretary, Ministry of Home Affairs; MCPF EXCO, Ex-officios and State Liaison Committee Chairmen.

The meeting agenda included the review / passing of Minutes of MCPF EXCO Meeting #1 2024/2026 (7^th March 2024); Financial Report (ending 39^th June 2024); the sharing of Programs and Activities Report by Federal and States; the endorsement of new Membership applications (6 for Ordinary Life Membership & 101 Ordinary Members in total); Other matters arising; and the committed cooperation between various agencies in the ongoing campaign to enhance Crime Prevention awareness. The Penang delegates were Y.Bhg. Dato’ Seri Ong Poh Eng (Chairman); Y.Bhg. Dato’ Seri K. Pulayantran (Deputy Chairman cum MCPF EXCO); and, JM Tan (Secretary). As an update with regards to new Membership applications, from Penang, there was 1 applicant for Ordinary Life Membership and 8 for Ordinary Members). Attendees were updated on a presentation entitled “Towards a Safe and Resilient Digital Malaysia” by the Head of Sustainability & CSR of CelcomDigi Berhad Encik Areehan Hj. Abdullah; and a presentation “Management of National Unity Issues” by Encik Mohd Fardhi bin Ahmad, Deputy DG, JPNIN.

Chairman YB Datuk Seri Saifuddin Nasution Ismail requested the support and attendance of MCPF EXCO Members to an upcoming Security Symposium being organized by the Ministry of Home Affairs. He also shared on Security issues at the Immigration Detention Centre that had been raised by the International Organization of Human Rights that required the support of Third Parties like MCPF.

MCPF Malaysia recognized the contributions of YDH SAC Alina Sa’adi, Honorary Secretary, MCPF who has been reassigned to the Management Department, Bukit Aman as the Ketua Penolong Pengarah Pengurusan Polis Diraja Malaysia.
