MCPF Barat Daya DLC Chairman Mr. James Mohan was accompanied by Committee Member Gideon Mr. Lau Sing Kwang to attend an AADK organized Event to that was part and parcel of Mukim 12 High Risk Area (Red Zone) to help address Drug Misuse / Abuse with its community at Anjung Komuniti AADK DBD Suungai Ara on 3^rd August 2024. The Guest of Honour was Tuan Ibrahim bin Muhamad Said, Chief Officer of AADK, South-West District of Penang. Others in attendance included Puan Rafnah bt Mongudanchai, AADK Enforcement Officer of South-West District of Penang; Other AADK DBD Officers; AADK Officers from PUSPEN Bukit Mertajam; ‘Clients’ and Members of the public of the local community.  One of the two key objectives of this Program was to heighten substance abuse awareness in collaboration with the community and other NGOs like MCPF while at the same time to provide consultation services to combat drug misuse / abuse. The other was on the sharing from PUSPEN (Pusat Pemulihan Penagihan Narkotik) Bukit Mertajam focusing on the Treatment and Rehabilitation of Drug users.
