Another positive and productive Focus Meeting chaired by MCPF Penang Chairman Y.Bhg. Dato’ Seri Ong Poh Eng was conducted on Thursday 7th February 2025 (4.00 pm to 5.30 pm) at Penang Golf Club Board Room in the run up to the scheduled 20th February 2025 Official Launching of the PDRM Pulau Pinang – MCPF Penang Scam Awareness QR Code (Mini-App / Infographics). Other attendees included: From MCPF Penang Y.Bhg. Dato’ Seri K. Pulayantran (Deputy Chairman); Mr. JM Tan (Secretary); Mr. James Mohan (Barat Daya DLC Chairman); Kapt. Bersekutu (PA) Paramaguru Balan Moghan (SPS DLC Chairman); Encik Ridzuan Md Zain (SPT DLC Chairman); Y.Bhg. Dato’ M. Kaleessvaran (CM); Encik Rahumathullah Ibrahim (CM); Encik Yazid Razali (CM); and, Dr. Kiew Hen Chong (CM). Also in attendance from PDRM P. Pinang JPJKK were YDH Supt. Ganesan a/l Chinapan; and DSP Noor Eddura and from Penang Golf Club Ms. Jascelyn Ngu. The Agenda covered: 1. Opening Remarks / Motivational Guidance by Dato’ Seri Ong Poh Eng; 2. Updates on the Letters of Invitation sent out to date covering Supermarkets / Hypermarkets / Malls; Rapid Bus; Penang Ferry; FREPENCA Companies; and Petrol Stations;  3. JPNPP/PPD will be additionally invited; 4. PDRM list summary shared; 5. Google Form (Auto Monitoring) of participants to date; 6. Logistical readiness; 7. Program / Aturcara Review / refinements; 8. VVIP Seating; VIP Seating; Invited Participants’ Seating; 9. Next Focus Meeting and Event Rehearsal has also been decided. Members present also made an on-site inspection of the venue itself – The Penang Golf Club Ballroom. The Team looked forward positively to ensuring success in this Milestone Program to increasing heightened awareness by the public on the detrimental impact of Scams.
