MCPF Penang SLC Member Rahmat Ibrahim attended a meeting together with Tuan Fadzil Sadikin (Chief Asst. Director – Student Development Sector) JPNPP and Hj. Roslan Darus (JPNPP staff) at the Penang State Education Office, Bukit Gambier on 8^th May 2025. Besides strategizing on the distribution of PDRM Pulau Pinang – MCPF Penang Scam Awareness QR Code Posters through the 5 District Education Offices, they discussed on a Workshop for teachers to be carried out on Crime Prevention Programs at District levels in June 2025. They also touched on having a high impact program for all schools – like a Debate or a Sketch on Crime Prevention at District Levels culminating in a State Level finals. This is planned for the 4^th Quarter of 2025. The team also covered the importance of selective Boarding Schools to incorporate CCTV installation. Preliminary identification of two schools – one at SPU and the other at Timur Laut has been made. Further steps will be taken as this entails budget / sponsorship / choice of vendor and maintenance of such equipment.
