MCPF Timur Laut DLC was invited by the Organizers of the Event to participate in “Fit For The Future: Green and Healthy Choices Program” filled with Fun Activities and Competitions on Saturday 14^th June 202 at the Straits Quay Marina Mall, Penang. The main Organizers were Straits Quay Management, One Academy and Diabetes Malaysia, Penang State Branch. Participants included Teachers and Students from 22 Primary Schools and 17 Secondary Schools from Penang State. The students were largely accompanied by their parents / family members. Approximately 50 vendors / Agencies / Schools in total had activity stalls / booths in place. Estimated reach out of crowd size was around 500 in total.

MCPF Timur Laut DLC’s support was primarily to: 1. Set up an Exhibition Booth with Crime Prevention Awareness Brochures / Booklets being distributed to the participants and public members; 2. Raise Awareness on the Fight Against Scams that is acknowledged by many in the crowd as being a clear and present danger to society.; 3. Help those present to be more aware of the “PDRM Pulau Pinang – MCPF Penang Scam Awareness QR Code Mini-App Infographics / Poster”.

MCPF Timur Laut DLC in attendance: 1. YBhg. Dato’ Felix Chuah Gim Chuan, MCPF Penang SLC Member & Timur Laut DLC Chairman; 2. Mr. Peter Paul Arokiyasamy, Secretary; 3. Teoh Kheng Tatt, Treasurer; 4. Mr. Kathiraveloo Thangiah, DLC Member; 5. Ms. Sally Ng Chit Peng, DLC Member; 6. Mr. Dannis Khaw Haur Yee, DLC Member. In attendance from MCPF Penang SLC was Mr. Johnny Michael Tan, Secretary. Also in Attendance was Encik Adriel Jefryzal Albert bin Abdullah, MCPF Member. There was good interaction by the Timur Laut DLC Members / JM Tan with the crowd through: 1. Visitors to the MCPF Booth where information about MCPF, its focus on Crime Prevention Awareness, and, the various Crime Prevention Brochures and Literature being handed out; 2. An overview of the PDRM Pulau Pinang – MCPF Penang Scam Awareness QR Code (Mini-App / Infographics) / Posters by JM Tan.
