MCPF Barat Daya DLC headed by its Chairman Mr. James Mohan attended a Program “JALINAN INSAN WAHANA ASPIRASI (JIWA) KOMUNITI MADANI PANGSAPURI JALAN TENGAH ANJURAN PEJABAT PENERANGAN DAEARAH BARAT DAYA“ on 29 June 2025 morning at MPKK Jalan Tengah Hall, Bayan Lepas, Penang. The Main Objective was being provided with a platform for Jabatan Penerangan in collaboration with strategic partners to disseminate information, current issues in the country, policies and initiatives of the Government including e-services to all levels of the community.  This program is also in line with the Government’s objective to strengthen the community and have a seamless communication between the Government and its citizens. MCPF DLC DBD was given the honor to put up an exhibition booth and to give a talk on Cyber Crime (SCAM). James Mohan and his Team also took the opportunity to distribute the SCAM Awareness QR Code Posters to some of the key people present. In attendance were 1) Encik Raja Kamarudin Bin Raja Abdul Rahman /Pejabat Penerangan Daerah Barat Daya Officer; 2) Mr. James Mohan / MCPF DLC DBD Chairman; 3) Mr. William Hoe Chin Kwan / VC2 MCPF DLC DBD; 4) Mr. Selva Pichaimuthu / Secretary MCPF DLC DBD; 5) Mr. Nicholas Chang Him Hooi / MCPF DLC Committee Member; 6) Mr. Thomas Devasagayam / MCPF DLC DBD Committee Member; 7) Puan. Arina bte Mohamed Ali/ MCPF DLC DBD Committee Member; 8) Seven speakers from various Agencies; and, 9) around 300 residents. The Collaborators were 1. MCPF Southwest DLC; 2. Jawatankuasa Pembangunan Wanita dan Keluarga Pantai Jerjak (JPWK); 3. Communication for Behavioural Impact Group (COMBI DBD); 4. Majlis Pengurusan Komuniti Kampung Jalan Tengah Selatan (MPKK); 5. National Information Dissemination Centre (NADI); 6. Perbadanan Tabung Pendidikan Tinggi Nasional (PTPTN); 7. Bantuan Tuntutan Medikal (MySalam); and 8. Agensi Anti-Dadah Kebangsaan (AADK). This Community Program also included: 1. Presentation by all the collaborators; 2. Free Medical Check Up; 3. Colouring Contest for Children; 4. Synergy Games for Families and 5. Lucky Draws.
