Program Penghijauan Kawasan Berisiko Tinggi Penagihan Dadah ‘Segmen Keselamatan Siri 2 (Kedua) / SPT (Greening of ‘Red Zone’ of High Risk Drug Addiction Program) / (2nd in the Series) was carried out at Mukim 16, Machang Bubok, was carried out at Mukim 16, Machang Bubok, Seberang Perai Tengah on 14 August 2025, from 8.00 pm – 11.00 pm. AADK SPT was represented by 1. Siti Sarah binti Abdul Wahab; 2. Muhamad Nor Ikram B Ibrahim; 3. Azmeer; 4. Mohd Faisal; and, 5. Nor Hafizah. In attendance from AADK Negeri Pulau Pinang were 1. Aida Rafida; 2. Siti Balkis Julizan; and 3. Shahrul Azizi. MCPF DLC SPT participants were 1. Ridzuan Bin Md Zain – Chairman; and 2. Razalan Muhammad Zain – DLC Member. This Program also had the support of Persatuan Bomba Sukarela Machang Bubok’s Chairman Mr. Ng Weng Aun – Chairman and Secretary Mr. Cheng Wen Fuat alongside members from Persatuan Bantuan Kecemasan Bukit Mertajam. The key objectives and mission of this Program is to minimize and/or to eradicate the threats of drugs being used or abused in these areas by 1.Implementing Cohesive participation among (NGO) such as Malaysian Crime Prevention Foundation (MCPF), to focus and help prevent crime by various means toward a safe environment; 2. Having cooperation among the local communities with AADK especially in Mukim 16 area and assisting in providing knowledge about the security situation in the housing areas or the villages surrounding by taking preventive measures of the drugs threats; 3. Executing his outreach series of programs by patrolling the areas in Machang Bubok, Bukit Teh village and the surrounding housing areas to improve and have better cognizance to the local community in safe guarding the safety and drugs threats in their areas; and, 4. Assisting the community by giving exposure about the threats of drugs by doing exhibitions and lectures so that the locals have a knowledge of the various substances of drugs shapes and sizes. Kudos to AADK SPT for leading this thrust and effort.
