A short follow up meeting was requested for and convened by MCPF Penang Chairman YBhg. Dato’ Seri Ong Poh Eng on Saturday 27th September 2025 at Penang Golf Club to discuss on ‘Next Steps’ that should be taken on the proposed SMK Mengkuang to be a ‘Pilot’ Project’ before embarking on the next school(s) with regards to the setting up of a CCTV System that would help monitor and deter bullying amongst school students. As previously brainstormed during MCPF Penang State Liaison Committee meetings coupled with the ‘On-site’ visit to SMK Mengkuang, SPT on 12th September 2025, this short meeting will be one of many ad hoc and project progress reviews anticipated. Together with attendees Secretary JM Tan ad SLC Members Rahumat Ibrabim and Joseph Sawaremuthu key items discussed encompassed protocol, process and procedures required involving the Pilot school stakeholders, sponsors, funding, vendor selection, and the proper Project Management of this Program. Stay tuned for more progressive updates.
