MCPF Penang SLC Member Joseph Sawaremuthu attended the PGO2025 Organizing Committee Virtual ZOOM Meeting on 14th October 2025. The meeting was chaired by Ybhg. Dato’ Ong Bee Leng, CEO of Penang Women’s Development. She expressed PWDC’s appreciation to all parties involved. Details of this 12th Edition of Penang Goes Orange including ‘Orange Carnival”; 16 Days of Campaign on “Fighting Violence Against Women”; iteration on the Theme “Break the Silence; Jangan Dok Diam” to avoid the “Bystander Effect / Kesan Pemerhati”’; the 4 Components of PGO2025; proposed Itinerary for 13th December 2025 / Esplanade Program; Exhibition Booth Participants; and, Signing of the Petition.
Joseph Sawaremuthu and Rahumat Ibrahim are both continuing their roles as MCPF Penang Representatives / Ambassadors. This year, we envisage to have as mush participation from SLC, DLCs and MCPF Members from Penang.
