Majlis Peluncuran Taman Angkat Amanita PDRM Kontinjen Pulau Pinang 2025 was successfully held on Saturday 15th November 2025 from 7:00 am till 12:00 noon at ADTEC ATM Kampus Kepala Batas, Lot 2022, Jalan Tun Hamdan Sheik Tahir, 113200 Kepala Batas, Pulau Pinang. MCPF Penang was invited by PDRM Pulau Pinang to attend the mentioned Program which was officiated by YDH CP Dato’ Ts Azizee bin Ismail. This program organized by the Crime Prevention and Community Safety Department (JPJKK) aimed to strengthen police-community relations through the AMANITA platform, which has become a symbol of community harmony and safety. In his Welcoming Speech YDH CP Dato’ Ts. Azizee bin Ismail underlined that through a strong communication network, KRT (Kawasan Rukun Tetangga) and the community, women acted as the ‘eyes and ears’ of the Royal Malaysia Police in channeling information related to security issues, including domestic Violence, commercial crime, drug abuse and social problems. He also stressed that close cooperation between the community and PDRM is the foundation for the establishment of a safe community, in line with the slogan “Polis dan Masyarakat Berpisah Tiada”.

This Program was also attended by: 1. YBhg. Dato’ Seri Ong Poh Eng, Chairman, MCPF Penang; 2. YDH DCP Dato’ Mohd Alwi bin Zainal Abidin, Deputy Chief Police Officer of Penang; 3. YDH SAC Puspanathan a/l Wiresingam, Head of the Crime Prevention and Community Safety Department and Chairman of the PDRM Contingent AMANITA Park Adoption Launching Committee; 4. YDH SAC Zailanni bin Amit, Head of the Criminal Investigation Department; 5. YDH ACP Anuar bin Abdul Rahman, Chief of Police of the North Seberang Perai District; 6. Ts. Zahari bin Md Zin, representative of the Deputy ADTEC of Kepala Batas; 7. En. Muhammad Nizam bin Abdullah, Chairman of KRT Taman Seri Serdang; 8. En. Lokmal Hakim bin Pakndak Mid, Chairman of the KRT Taman Seri Serdang Zone 2; 9. Department Heads, Agency Heads, District Police Chiefs, Senior Police Officers, Junior Police Officers; 10. Leadership of the Taman Seri Serdang KRT; and, 11. Local residents.

Other MCPF Penang Attendees were; 1. Mr. Johnny Michael Tan (Secretary); 2. Mr. Munusamy Muniandy (Chairman, SPU DLC); 3. En. Ridzuan Md Zain (Chairman, SPT DLC); 4. En. Rahumat Ibrahim (SLC Member); 5. Mr. Haribalan Gopal (Secretary, SPU DLC); and, 6. En. Madzuki bin Md Nor (Treasurer, SPU DLC).
Highlights of the Program included: 1. Exhibition of Security Assets by bomba, APM, AADK, JPJ and KKM; 2. PDRM check up counter summons payment discounts of up to 70%; 3. Interesting activities including sports, coloring and towel-making competitions, Cybercrime and Bullying Awareness talks, T-Baton shows, Detection Dog Unit (K9) and Bullying sketches 4. Community Games by KRT Taman Seri Serdang, community and PDRM Members; 5. Food and beverage sales; and, 6. Lucky draw as a token of appreciation to visitors.
