As a follow up to the earlier inaugural “On-Site strategic review” held on 16th September 2025, a positive / productive Operational Meeting with Vendors was successfully carried out today on Friday 21st November 2025 at SMK Mengkuang to ensure a transparent review of the following: 1. Aligned understanding of CCTV cameras / systems / CGSO (minimum) specification guidelines / Data Protection requirements / clarifications / Tender bidding process / etc. between all parties in attendance. JPNPP P. Pinang headed this segment; 2. The above was preceded by a Welcome speech by the School Principal and a brief sharing on a ‘Benchmark’ visit key learnings of another school by En. Rahmat Ibrahim; 3. On-site inspection by all Attendees conducted by JPNPP & assisted by the School’s Head of Discipline / discussions on the proposed positioning of CCTV cameras with agreed upon improvements being discussed; 4. Short debrief / Q&A / Feedbacks by MCPF Penang attendees /Essential ‘must have’ (key being the Maintenance contract / duration) iteration. Attendees from MCPF Penang were: 1. Mr. JM Tan (Secretary); 2. Mr. James Mohan (Barat Daya DLC Chairman); 3. En. Ridzuan Md Zain (SPT DLC Chairman); 4. Mr. Munusamy Muniandy (SPU DLC Chairman); 5. Mr. Joseph Sawaremuthu (SLC Member); and, 6. En. Rahmat Ibrahim (SLC Member).

JPNPP was represented by: 1. En. Fadzil Sadikin (Chief Assistant Director, Student Affairs / MCPF Penang SLC ex-officio [JPNPP]); 2. Hj. Roslan Darus (Officer, Student Affairs); and, 3. En. Mohd Yazid. Pn. Nurshamimi binti Zainuddin (Unit HEM PPD) from PPD SPT was also present.

SMK Mengkuang attendees included: 1. En Ismail @ Faiden bin Hasan (Pengetua Sekolah); 2. Pn Rosniwati binti Md Salleh (PK HEM); 3. En Muhammad Ikhwan bin Ahmad (Ketua Guru Disiplin); 4. En Wan Mohamad Aizat bin Wan Aziz (Penyelia Asrama); 5. Pn Khadijah binti Abd Karim (Penyelia Asrama); and, 6. En. Shahril Darsyia (PIBG rep).

Vendors: All three Vendors who had been contacted to be involved in this Bidding process were present.

Timeline for the next action to review quotes; awarding; sponsorship appeal, installation and launching will be discussed further by MCPF Penang. Footnote: SPT DLC Chairman En. Ridzuan Md Zain took the opportunity to handover “PDRM Pulau Pinang – MCPF Penang Scan Awareness QR Code Posters” to the School Principal to facilitate enhanced awareness of Scams.
