MCPF Barat Daya DLC led by its DLC Chairman Mr. James Mohan paid a Courtesy Visit to the OCPD of IPD Barat Daya YDH ACP Anuwal Bin Ab Wahab on Tuesday 3rd February 2026 from 3:00 pm to 4:00 pm at IPD DBD.

In Attendance were: 1. YDH ACP Anuwal Bin Ab Wahab, OCPD IPD Barat Daya / Advisor, MCPF Barat Daya; 2. YDH Supt. Nermaljit Singh, Deputy OCPD IPD Barat Daya; 3. En. James Mohan, Chairman, MCPF Barat Daya DLC; 4. ASP Shamshul Anuar Bin Zakaria, Division Head of Crime Prevention and Community Safety IPD Barat Daya / MCPF Barat Daya DLC Vice-Chairman (I) ex-officio; 5. En. William Hoe Chin Khwan, Vice-Chairman (II), MCPF Barat Daya DLC; 6. En. Selva Pichaimuthu, Secretary, MCPF Barat Daya DLC; 7. En. Thomas Devasagayam, Committee Member, MCPF Barat Daya DLC 8. En. Nicholas Chang Gim Hooi, Committee Member, MCPF Barat Daya DLC; 9. Pn Nadzirah Binti Omar, Committee Member, MCPF Barat Daya DLC.

Summary:

It was a fruitful meeting of the minds to further strenghthen the already existing good collaboration between MCPF DBD and PDRM DBD.

YDH ACP Anuwal Ab Wahan gave his assurance that IPD DBD will continue to wok in tandem with MCPF in achieving its objectives and goals.

He further underscored his statement by mentioning that ASP Shamshul Anuar Zakaria who is the VC(I) is an asset to MCPF taking into account his experience in working with schools and the community on crime prevention.

MCPF DLC DBD will work with him and draw up a roadmap for the year 2026 to ensure the team is focussed and on course.

Some of the contemporary topics that will be engaged in are as follows: 1. Social problems at schools; 2. Substance abuse; 3. SCAM 4. “Mat Rempit‘; 5. Community engagement to share crime prevention knowledge.
