In an event held at SRJK Tamil Permatang Tinggi on 26^th August 2017 organized by the Goju Ryu Karate Association of Penang, Sports Grading was integrated seamlessly with character building on youngsters seeking to be exponents in this art of Self Defense. The requirement of self-discipline, determination and dedication is also needed for long term aspiration to become crime-free and value-added citizens. MCPF Penang Deputy Chairman Dato’ K. Pulayantran delivered the Motivational Talk on Crime Prevention. He was accompanied by Goju Ryu Karate Association of Penang Advisor cum MCPF Penang SLC Member Paramguru Balan A/L Moghan. Also in attendance was MCPF Penang SLC Member Munusamy Muniandy. Parents of the ‘Karate Kids’ were proud attendees. Karate Malaysia Grandmaster Ananthan and Karate Master Stalin also graced the sporting event.
