MCPF Penang State Liaison Committee was well represented when they were invited to the Handing over of Certificate of Appointment for PDRM School Liaison Officers appointees at Dewan DRR, IPK Penang on 29^th August 2017. Liaison Officers covering all five Police Districts of Penang and Schools within their respective districts were ceremonially given their Appointment Certificates. YDH CP Datuk Wira Chuah Ghee Lye, CPO, Penang encouraged the appointees to do their utmost to reach out to students and the Parent-Teacher Associations to help reduce the increasing threats of Bullying, Gangsterism and Drug Menace amongst others. CP Datuk Wira Chuah urged that Crime Prevention Clubs in Schools be reviewed for their effectiveness.

District PDRM JPJKK Heads were present alongside OCPDs. MCPF Penang’s Chairman Dato’ Seri Syed Jaafar Syed Ali was accompanied by Deputy Chairman Dato’ K. Pulayantran, SLC Members Rahumatullah Ibrahim, JM Tan and MCPF Penang SLC Ex-Officio Members Supt. Zainudin Mahadi (JPJKK, IPK Penang) and Tuan Bakri Ahmad (Penang State Education Department).
Also present were Penang State CID Chief SAC Zainol Samah, Head of Crime Prevention and Community Safety cum MCPF Penang Vice-Chairman (I) Dato’ Mohamad Anil Shah and Penang Education Department Quality Assurance Sector Head Tuan Dzolkapli Haron.
