MCPF Penang SLC Member Munusamy Muniandy kindness and spirit of volunteerism has to be commended. The 5th/6th November 2017 Penang floods impacted both the Island as well as Seberang Perai.

Rajamunu helped to distribute food and basic necessities to flood victims in Balik Pulau, Barat Daya, Penang Island on 5th November 2017, This was followed by his being in the presence of the flood victims to help in their massive cleanup of their premises at Tasek Gelugor, Seberang Perai. Syabas and Kudos to you Munusamy Muniandy! Indeed, this is just but an example of how Penangnites get together during times of adversity.
MCPF Penang would also like to acknowledge the Royal Malaysia Police, The Fire and Rescue Department, Civil Defense Department, MBPP, MPSP, Lions Club International, LLN (Lembaga Letrik Negara), PBA (Perbadanan Bekalan Air) and many other volunteers who have joined the Federal and State Government bodies / staff to work relentlessly round the clock to help bring the situation back to normalcy.
