In 2016, the MCPF Penang SLC met 10 times (far exceeding the MCPF Constitutional requirements of at least 1 meeting per Quarter).  It plans to have its 2^nd Annual (Off-site) Retreat in December 2016 to brainstorm, strategize and commit to continual success in its 2017 and beyond Crime Prevention efforts.
Significant strengthening of its Ex-Officio SLC Members has also taken place.  In Sept 2016, Puan Noor Asa Elang – Director, Chief Government Security Office, Penang and Encik Bakri Ahmad – State Education, Penang were confirmed as Ex-Officio SLC Members.  In Nov 2016, three more Ex-Officio SLC Members were incorporated and MCPF Penang welcomed Supt. Zainudin Mahadi of JPJKK IPK Penang – a wonderful supporter of MCPF Penang Programs, Events and Activities since 2014; Tuan Shalehudin bin Hj. Hashim of Majlis Bandaraya Pulau Pinang (MBPP) and Tuan Nazri bin Abdul Wahab of Majlis Perbandaran Seberang Perai (MPSP) joined our winning Team.
