MCPF Penang Deputy Chairman Y.Bhg. Dato’ K. Pulayantran and MCPF SPT DLC Member Goh Hoe Eng attended a Crime Prevention and Safety Program for Students at SRJK(C) Peng Bin, Bukit Tengah, SPT on 20^th June 2019. In this RMP led Program, over 1,000 attendees were addressed by En. Kevin Khor (Head of PIBG SJK(C) Peng Bin), Y.Bhg. Dato’ Seri Dr. Tan Seng Suo (Chairman of the Board of Governors, SJK(C) Peng Bin) and YDH SAC Dato’ Mohamad Anil Shah (Head of Crime Prevention and Community Safety, RMP Penang). The students present were advised positively to distance themselves from the ills of crimes like bullying, drugs and other wrong doings. They were also encouraged to focus on their education, respect for their teachers and their parents and to inculcate a sense of civic conscientiousness with regards to the dangers of crimes that are happening within their school vicinity and surroundings. It was key that students and teachers cooperated with one another to win the fight against crimes. Another key message was that school officials and counselors had in their hands the mission to guide students toward the pathway of being good citizens and success stories in the future. Other VIPs in attendance included Professor Khoo Kheng Hor (a long-time ally of RMP and crime prevention advocate); En. Tan Swee Chon, Headmaster of SJK(C) Peng Bin; and, En. Ooi Boon Sheng, representing the State Assemblyman (ADUN) of Bukit Tengah. RMP Penang’s presence and support was underlined  by the attendance of Supt. Mustafa bin Bidin (Deputy Head of CPCSD), Supt. Saw Hock Tek (Staff Officer, Community Policing – CPCSD), Supt. Tan Cheng San (Staff Officer, Land Ops), DSP Sathasivam A/L Maniam (CPCSD), ASP Low Teck Lai (KC, MPV SPT) and others from MPV SPT, URB SPT, Amanita SPT and PPS.
