MCPF Penang was involved in yet another successful Crime Prevention Program with the Resident Association and Community at Surau Taman Pauh Jaya, SPT on 23^rd November 2019. In this morning event, MCPF Secretary cum SPT DLC Chairman Dr. EL Ching shared and introduced MCPF to the 150 crowd in attendance. This was followed by a short talk on Cybercrime by MCPF Penang ex-Officio (USM) SLC Member Assoc Prof Dr. Selvakumar Manickam. A briefing on Voluntary Smartphone Patrol (VSP) was delivered by Ketua Bahagian JPJKK SPT cum MCPF SPT DLC Vice-Chairman (I) ASP Azman Kayat. The short program included Registration of new VSP Members by the SPT URB Team. Thanks also to MCPF Penang ex-Officio (MBPP) SLC Member Tuan Hj Shalehudin bin Hj Hashim who, as the Chairman of the Taman Pauh Jaya Resident Association helped to get this meaningful event moving together with close support by the SPT Police Team. The children present in the crowd were also excited by a Drawing competition whilst the adults were excited by the Crime Prevention / Cybercrime and VSP sharing.
